When the volcano on Krakatoa erupts, the families and Sherman escape on a platform held aloft by twenty balloons. As the platform drifts westward around the world, the families parachute off to India and Belgium to start their new lives. Sherman remains on the platform and finally descends onto the waters of the Atlantic Ocean, where he is rescued. The professor concludes his speech by telling the audience he intends to build an improved balloon for a year of life in the air, financed by the diamond cufflinks he obtained in Krakatoa. The novel describes Krakatoa as an island in the Pacific Ocean, but the Sunda Strait that contains the island is considered an arm of the Indian Ocean .

A medida que la plataforma se desplaza hacia el oeste alrededor del mundo, las familias se lanzan en paracaídas a India y Bélgica para comenzar una nueva vida. Sherman permanece en la plataforma y finalmente desciende a las aguas del Océano Atlántico , donde es rescatado. El profesor concluye su discurso diciéndole a la audiencia que tiene la intención de construir un globo mejorado para un año de vida en el aire, financiado por los gemelos de diamantes que obtuvo en Krakatoa. La novela describe Krakatoa como una isla en el Océano Pacífico, pero el Estrecho de Sunda que contiene la isla se considera un brazo del Océano Índico.

What if SpongeBob knew about the secret of the kraby patty? Or rather he learned about it then right before the tortured one falls into the lava SpongeBob reveal it to him?
Think about it, since when does Spongebob, one of the greatest fry cooks in the ocean who pretty much lives to cook, make the mistake of undercooking anything? And that undercooked patty just happen to go to Patrick while Spongebob is standing there asking him if he’s ever wondered what the patties are made from? Seems rather suspicious if you ask me.
holy shit!! I was just thinking the same thing! There’s just no way that spongebob could undercook a patty…unless something distracted him and caused him to not pay attention to what he was doing, but still that’s quite a coincidence isn’t it? I’m starting to think that in the memory when spongebob asked Patrick about the patty was indeed the same exact moment patrick tasted the undercooked flesh…it just all fits too well…
But the question is… even if spongebob knew…I find it hard to believe that a character like spongebob would morally be ok serving his best friend something so beyond foul like that, so why would a happy-go-lucky sponge even serve something so terrible to his best friend?
