Exelente anime, espero en algún otro momento hagas otra saga de Bob Esponja pero con diferente historia y más enemigos ya que algunos personajes no tuvieron bastante protagonismo por ejemplo Larry la langosta, el verdadero poder de Sandy, perlita, sireno man, chico perceve etc. Espero leas este mensaje 😀

Got answered on a different account on reddit. It’s the sponge material but dense
it’s a comic, based on a cartoon….and in said cartoon the sponge has a skeleton at times
Pretty sure that’s supposed to be the like the calcium carbonate “skeleton” that gets left behind when coral reefs die, it looks the same and makes sense since calcium carbonate is an antacid it wouldn’t be eaten away by stomach acid the way the rest of him was.

This is an amazing ending but I PRAY we get an epilogue. I NEED to know how all of this rounds up in the end. What of the bikini bottom survivors? Do Spongebob and the redeemed Patrick go back to being best friends or do they want nothing to do with eachother? What happens to the Krusty Krab, is it scrubbed from history or is it re-established as a legitimate fast-food chain? Also I noticed we havnt got anything from Pearl, I wonder what she’s doing during or after this.

I got a question for you Stillinthesimulation…Did you base this comic off of John Milton’s ‘Paradise Lost’? The quote at the end of the page from Jan. 8th shows a quote from said book. Seems like an interesting basis to go from. One who was seen as the brightest and mightiest amongst others is driven into perdition by the one that helped create him. Interesting concept…
I wouldn’t go as far as to say I based it off of it but it was one of many influences.

Agreed. This would feel rushed if the characters don’t have a reflection on things. Like what now? What will happen to bikini bottom? How will the characters move on? What about survivor’s? I hope there’ll be one last page for this because this sudden erupt ending with no dialog feels a bit rushed to me as if it’s just desperate to end things already.

Without a doubt the whole year that the author invested in this comic was much better than everything Nickelodeon did after the 1st movie.

I know you said that this would be the end of it, but should you ever consider continuing it some day then, in my own humble opinion, the Flying Dutchman would be a good next antagonist. Most of Bikini Bottom is dead at this point, which means a whole lot of souls vengeful souls to be utilized. We could even find out that he’s the one that hunted down and killed Pearl’s mom.
